The information published by the Paraguayan Social Security Institute (Instituto de Previsión Social – IPS) on July 17, 2026 confirms that the reallocation of its investment portfolio is being carried out in accordance with Law No. 7235/2023 and the regulations issued by the Superintendency of Pensions and Retirement Funds (Superintendencia de Jubilaciones y Pensiones), applying “the same criteria to all banking and financial institutions” with which it conducts investment operations. The IPS also stated that, “there is no resolution determining any breach of the applicable regulatory framework by the institution.”
This information is consistent with the position previously communicated by ueno bank. During the period in which the bank has managed these resources, the investments have generated returns that have contributed to strengthening the assets managed by the IPS and enhancing the value of the funds held on behalf of its beneficiaries.
ueno bank reiterates that all its actions have been carried out in full compliance with the applicable regulatory framework and under the principles of transparency, responsibility, and institutional cooperation. The bank will continue working to foster a stronger, more modern, and more inclusive financial system that contributes to Paraguay’s sustainable development and the well-being of its citizens.
