ueno bank expands international funding platform with US$17.5 million from Triodos Bank and GAWA Capital

New facilities further strengthen funding diversification while expanding financing for Paraguayan SMEs and green financing projects.

ueno bank has secured US$17,5 million in new long-term funding through two credit facilities provided by internationally recognized development finance institutions: Triodos Bank (Netherlands), which extended a US$11.75 million facility with a four-year tenor, and GAWA Capital (Spain), which provided US$5.8 million with a three-year tenor.s. 

The funds will be used to expand financing for small and medium-sized enterprises and support green finance initiatives, contributing to sustainable economic development and financial inclusion in Paraguay.

The agreements mark another milestone in ueno bank’s strategy to diversify its international funding sources and strengthen its role as a catalyst for economic development.
